LiTT Yoga Festival
We had the joy and opportunity to be at the first ever LiTT Yoga Festival. Spanning over 4 days and located in Quilcene, WA on Lake Leland.
August 29-September 1
We had a great event connecting with the team of LiTT Yoga and getting to share our work in a positive, relaxed, communal environment!

On Friday, for our first Yoga session we held a class combining Shamanic healing practices and sound medicine. Located in the “Expand” Tent, we began by saging the space with our cleansing blend of herbs, a mixture of sage, cedar, and copal.

We began by discussing with the group about the combination of Shamanic and Kundalini practices that we offer. We asked folks to share their thoughts, goals, ideas, and things they were letting go. As most people who joined us were new to Kundalini, this was more of an introductory class to the Kundalini Lineage that we practice.
We started our breathwork by teaching the long deep breath of yoga, utilizing the 3 compartmentalized breaths to bring in a full deep breath.

From there, we as a class moved, stretched, breathed, laughed, and danced. Eventually, we had the class lay down and used the tools of Shamanic healing to connect the folks in the group to their intentions. Using the sun gong, crystal healing bowl, crystal pyramid, and didgeridoo to create a sound healing space.

Connecting with folks after class, Metsa Noma continued to work on individuals with private sound healing sessions, in the Sacred Sound Healing Tent.

On Saturday, our second offering was a Kundalini session utilizing the techniques of Venus Kriya. This offering is focused on couples, partners, friends, and all who want to share a deeper connection through yoga.
Venus Kriya is designed to combine the electromagnetic field of each partner, to elevate consciousness and clear the subconscious. We use eye-gazing techniques, palm connection and gentle movements between partners, with the intention of the divine aspect of each person.

We received great feedback and many said this was their favorite class at the Festival!
The Lake Leland Venue has gorgeous views of the water & surrounding trees. With overnight camping for festival go-ers and a wide array of yoga activities & classes throughout the day. As well as, vendor tents showcasing handcrafts and wellness specialist activities!
As well as our Sacred Sound Healing Tent for private sessions. We had a space to showcase art & crafts of Indigenous communities of South America. From the Native Shipibo Peoples of Peru and Guajira peoples of Colombia.

We were able to offer beautifully hand beaded necklaces, bracelets and earrings. And colorful hand stitched clothing ornamented with intricate Indigenous art and symbols.

Overall the Festival was a success and we are so blessed to have made great connections with new community members!
